#ICYMI: Suffolk County Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins performed the keynote address for NECAT’s (New England Culinary Arts Center) recent graduation ceremony. Joining NECAT Executive Director Josephine “Joey” Cuzzi and an enthusiastic class of graduates, Sheriff Tompkins spoke to the group about their achievement and offered his congratulations. A community partner with the Department, NECAT provides chronically unemployed adults with a pathway to stable, long-term employment in the food services industry through comprehensive technical and job readiness training and individualized support and employment services.
