Suffolk County Sheriff and Roxbury Community College Board of Trustees Chair Steven W. Tompkins joined Roxbury Community College (RCC) Interim President Jackie Jenkins-Scott in welcoming attorney, author, and educator Anita Hill to the school’s Golden Jubilee Gala celebration at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport in Boston. Hill gave the keynote address and also accepted the inaugural RCC “Drum Major for Justice” Award. The gala was part of a year filled with celebrations and acknowledgements of the school’s 50th Anniversary.
