#ICYMI: Suffolk County Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins joined a large and enthusiastic group of supporters to help cheer on the 2019 graduating class of participants in the Pine Street Inn’s Job Training program. Along with family, friends and program instructors, Sheriff Tompkins listened to the poignant story told by Lisa S., a former member of the program, and heard presentations made by State State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, who delivered the keynote speech, Pine St. Inn Board of Directors Chair Patrick Jones, and Lyndia Downie, President and Executive Director of the Pine Street Inn. Attendees also celebrated the men and women who have moved out of homelessness and into permanent housing over the course of the past year
