First Annual Dennis P. Morelli Softball Tournament

Sheriff Cabral paid tribute to Capt. Dennis Morelli at a memorial softball tournament in his honor. Five Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department (SCSD) teams played against eleven other teams to raise money for a scholarship fund.

National Night Out

Sheriff Cabral and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department participated in the Annual National Night Out festivities held throughout Boston’s neighborhoods.

The Sheriff’s Department took part in three days of activities with the BACL; the Community Fellowship Luncheon, followed by the Unity in the Community Parade and then the Unity in the Community Family Picnic.

Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea J. Cabral surprised Brian Carrasquillo at a JP ball field. She made him an honorary Deputy. Brian, 15, suffers from Arthrogyposis & Thoracic Kyphoscoliosis (a weakness of the muscles and back pain).
