Members of the Summer Enrichment Program sat for a presentation by Captain Ross of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department Gang Intelligence Unit (GIU) as part of the lecture series created for their information and education as potential future members of law enforcement and/or criminal justice workers. During the visit, Captain Ross spoke about the many different security threat groups residing in Boston, Suffolk County and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and talked about the process of sharing information between other law enforcement agencies, as well as several other aspects of the work that he does for the Department.
