Boston – Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea J. Cabral is pleased

show produced by the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department
and coming to the Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN), Channel 9.
The show is titled “Common Ground” and will start

all legislation affecting the finances of the Commonwealth.
“The Sheriff is looking to introduce transparencies within
the Sheriff’s Department so that the public knows what we
do on a daily basis,” said Steve Tompkins, Director of External
Affairs and Communications.
Subsequent programs will showcase various departments that
encompass the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department such as:
Custody, Medical, Transportation, and Communications. The Sheriff
is also looking forward to bringing in outside partners such as:
the Boston Police Department, the State Police and the District
Attorneys Office to come on the show as guests.
“Our goal is to reach out to not only our Boston residents,
but to ALL the residents of Suffolk County,” said Ed Geary
Jr., Public Affairs Officer and Co-Producer of the program. With
that in mind, the Communications and External Affairs Division
of the Sheriff’s Department has also created relationships
with the public access programming managers for Chelsea, Winthrop
and Revere cable stations as well. “This is a great way
for the Sheriff to let the public see the hard work that being
done inside of our facilities,” said Geary.
