The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department delivered over 50 desks to YouthBuild on Friday. YouthBuild is a non-profit organization that strives to improve opportunities for young people of Boston by teaching them important skills and a sense of community responsibility. Three inmates participating in the Community Works Program (CWP) at the House of Correction delivered the desks to YouthBuild. The desks were given to the Sheriff’s Department by EDIC, the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston.
