South Boston—Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department Community Works Program visited the Mary Ellen McCormack Housing Development in South Boston on Friday, July 16th. The Sheriff’s Department, along with Boston City Services such as Boston Public Works, Boston Housing Authority and Project Pride spent the day cleaning up the area. Members of the Community Works Program headed by Cpl. Tony Morganelli weed whacked, pruned, swept and picked up litter around the Development and the neighboring Veteran’s Park.
