Dorchester—Suffolk County Sheriff’s
Department Community Works Program cleared debris and litter from
a Dorchester neighborhood during the month of March. The inmate work
crew from the Suffolk County House of Correction saved the City of
Boston hundreds of dollars in labor costs for the cleanup efforts
at Savin Hill Ave. The work crew removed more than 45 bags of trash.
Sheriff Andrea J. Cabral’s Communications & External Affairs
Division responded to a call from the Columbia Savin Hill Civic Association for assistance.
