In Case of an Emergency

  • Make sure that you know your full name, address (city & state) and phone number.
  • Dial 9-1-1 in case of any emergency. Tell the person on the phone why you are calling.

Street Safety Rules

  • Guns, knives and needles are very dangerous.
  • NEVER touch them, no matter where you find them.
  • Leave them alone and get an adult or call 911 right away. Tell the operator who you are and what you have found.
  • If someone tries to give you drugs, say no and tell an adult.
  • Always let your parents know where you are.
  • Never take rides from strangers.
  • If you are ever scared, yell for help.

Fire Safety Rules

  • Never play with matches or lighters.
  • Always be careful near a stove, open flame or a heater.
  • In case of a fire, never try to put the fire out yourself. Call 911 from a safe area.
