A collaborative effort between the Massachusetts
Office of Community Corrections (OCC), the Office
of the Commissioner of Probation (OCP), the Suffolk County Sheriff’s
Department (SCSD), Parole and the Department of Corrections (DOC). The
Center functions
as a fully operational
intermediate sanction program servicing level II, III and IV
offenders.
The Suffolk County Community Corrections Center relocated in August
2002 to 33 Bradston Street from the Pemberton Square Courthouse.
The Center facilitates the Suffolk County Adult Male Community Corrections
Center.
The Center’s programs provide comprehensive substance abuse
and educational services to 80 male offenders. Bunker
Hill Community College provides educational, career and learning
styles assessments, academic and career counseling, self-directed/self
paced computer
assisted instruction, GED/ESOL programs and college transition workshops.
Adcare Criminal Justice Services clinicians provide the therapeutic
component.
