My department is committed to protecting the rights of victims. The primary goal
of the Victim Services Unit is to ensure that victims of crime, their families, and
other concerned individuals have access to information and assistance concerning
offenders in the custody of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department. We appreciate
and respect the need for confidentiality and compassion when dealing with victims of crime.
The Sheriff’s Department is represented on various community groups and taskforces.
We are committed to working with and educating the communities of Suffolk County on
the services and resources that we provide. As Sheriff, it is my hope that you take
