The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department is committed to providing students with internships for credit to enhance their classroom education and professional development.

Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department interns provide a variety of services to the Department for academic credit. The Sheriff’s Department has partnerships with several local colleges and universities to provide students with an opportunity to experience a wide range of criminal justice, social service and professional jobs while interning. Partnerships include, Northeastern University, Boston College, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts and Bunker Hill Community College.
